Terms of sale and license
Last updated: October 4, 2026
1. Who we are
DittoDuo is sold by 501 Coding, 31 Gloria Dr, Greenbrier, AR 72058, United States. Contact us through our contact form.
2. The free app
You may use DittoDuo free of charge on any Mac you own or use.
3. DittoDuo Pro
- DittoDuo Pro is a one-time purchase of $19.99, plus any applicable tax. There is no subscription.
- Your license is for you personally. You may activate it on as many Macs as you personally own or use. Don’t activate it on a Mac used by someone else, and don’t share your key: each person needs their own license. A business buying for several people needs one license per person.
- Your purchase includes DittoDuo updates and Pro features for the life of the product, meaning for as long as 501 Coding sells or maintains DittoDuo.
- Don’t resell or publish your license key. We may revoke a key that has been shared publicly.
4. License checks
Pro confirms your license online when you activate it and about once a week after that. If it can’t confirm your license for 30 days, Pro features pause until it can. The free features and your clipboard history are never affected.
5. Immediate delivery and your right to withdraw (EU and UK)
Your license is digital content, delivered as soon as payment completes. At checkout you ask us to deliver it immediately and acknowledge that, once it’s delivered, you lose the statutory 14-day right to withdraw that consumers in the EU and UK otherwise have. We confirm this in your license email. Our voluntary 14-day refund (section 6) still applies.
6. Refunds and revocation
See the refund policy. A refunded or charged-back purchase revokes the license. Pro turns off at the next license check, or after at most 30 days if the Mac stays offline.
7. AI assistant access
If you turn on AI assistant access, you choose which assistants receive redacted recent clips. Redaction is pattern-based and can’t catch every secret. You’re responsible for the assistants you connect.
8. No warranty
DittoDuo is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, 501 Coding’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by contract.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
